StillPoint Within Massage & Bodywork ("StillPoint Within," "we," "us") is a massage and bodywork studio at 4705 W 38th Ave, Denver, CO 80212. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, booking and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you book an appointment. We use Square Appointments for online booking. When you book, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you choose, and any notes you add.
Health intake forms. After you book, we text you a link to a health intake form. It asks about your health history, current conditions, medications, injuries, pregnancy and areas you'd like us to focus on or avoid. We collect this so we can give you a safe, appropriate session.
Payments, gift cards and packages. Payments, gift cards and packages are processed by Square. We see the name, amount and transaction details, but we don't receive or store your full card number.
When you contact us. If you use the contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address and message. If you check the box to sign up for news and updates, we also add your email address to our mailing list.
When you visit our website. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, which collects standard usage information such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring site, and uses cookies to run the site and measure traffic.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- schedule, confirm and remind you about appointments, including by text message
- plan and provide safe, appropriate bodywork for your health needs
- process payments, gift cards and packages
- reply to your questions and requests
- send news and updates, only if you've signed up
- understand how our website is used and improve it
- meet our legal, tax and professional obligations
Your Health Information
We treat your health intake information as confidential. Only your therapist and the studio owner access it, and only to provide your care. We don't sell it, use it for marketing, or share it with anyone else unless you ask us to in writing, or we're required to by law or to protect someone's safety.
How We Share Information
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, who handle it on our behalf:
- Square, for booking, intake forms, text reminders, payments, gift cards and packages
- Squarespace, for our website, contact form and mailing list
- Google, for our email
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our staff or others.
Text Messages and Email
By booking, you agree to receive appointment-related texts such as confirmations, reminders and intake form links. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep client and intake records for as long as needed to provide care and to meet legal and professional record-keeping requirements. We delete or securely dispose of information we no longer need.
Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you marketing emails, by contacting us at the email below. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Children
Our website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them online.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
